Description
My Mom loved fine art. If there was a museum nearby, we'd go. She loved the
Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York.
She collected prints and fine art cards and books of art all her life.
This set of 20 greeting cards have no writing inside, making them all-purpose
cards. There are 19 different ones, and one double one. They are in original
box and measure 6 3/4 x 4 3/4 inches. The original envelopes are included in
box as well. The company that copyrighted the prints is Reproducta Company.
There is some yellowing and stains on box and envelopes. The cards are in
lovely condition.
The art includes Rothko, Renoir, Marc, Seurat, Schwitters, Picasso, Klee,
Diebenkorn, Kandinsky, Mondrian, Maleich, Miro, and Vuillard. They range from
impressionistic to abstract.
The double card is off Seurat's "Horse", 1884.
Enjoy this unique collection -- either to mail or frame or make into a collage
or instruct others in art. :D
