Amazing authentic rare vintage Large Christmas Card 1939 from D.B. Steinman,
the actual designing engineer of the U.S. Canadian Crossing Thousand Islands
Bridge completed in 1938. Within card is printed Peace on Earth message with
D.B. Steinman name and date. The card has cut and paste info about bridge by
Steinman with color image and measures 11 x 8.5" overall. Steinman was
obviously very proud of his accomplishment and took to sending out Christmas
Cards to boast about it - and likely to promote business. He designed many
bridges including the upgrade to the Brooklyn Bridge and wrote several books.
Condition is very good small crease lower right and some foxing and fading with
age. This is a fantastic piece of memorabilia directly from Steinman and must
